We continued the topic ‘winter’ this week. Children became more familiar with words via touching those actual items because some of them put right items in the bag when we said ‘mao zi (hat)’ and ‘shou tao (gloves)’ accordingly.
The story for the second session was about four seasons again. I was proud when children listened carefully and followed me to say those words.
Ethan loves our new ‘fruit-cutting’ toy and learnt to say ‘mian bao (bread) and ‘dao (knife)’. Well done!
See you next week!

Safina, Alex and Jazmine were in our Panda Group today in the first session, and for the second session we had Hong Tong, Larissa, Asha and Lily. All the children did a good job today in our flash-cards review, especially Larissa and Lily.
We played with the animal puzzle during activity time today. Safina was really interested in the rabbit, and kept saying the word ‘tu zi’ (rabbit). Lily even said to me ‘I have ‘yu’ in my home’ when she saw the fish in the puzzles.
We then had a rather interesting craft – a paper-folded fish. The children all drew fish scales and stuck big eyes on them. How cute!
See you next week!
Xie Xie!
